This short video will teach you how install your new pair of ski baskets at home in under 2 minutes!
What you need; hot glue gun, a hammer, a wrench, and 2 minutes of free time. Seriously, only 2 minutes.
Step 1: Remove old ski pole baskets.
-loosely fit a wrench around the ski pole shaft and rest it on your existing basket. Strike the wrench with a hammer to knock off your baskets. If you have a flex tip mount or adapter of other sorts, you can leave it on if your new baskets will fit onto it. If not, remove the mount by repeating step 1.
note: before removing baskets, check to see if your current baskets simply twist off. Some adapters are designed for baskets to screw on.
Step 2: Glue.
-Apply glue to the tip of your ski pole, and to the inside of your new baskets. Remember, glue is what's going to keep your baskets locked onto your ski poles - More is More!
Step 3: Installing New Ski Pole Baskets.
-Slide your baskets onto your ski pole. Place a wrench underneath your upgraded basket and lightly tap it into place. Whether or not your basket glues directly onto the pole or a flex tip mount, make sure it fits nice and snug.
Boom! You're done.
