The first step that should be done with your own setup: Try both putting your bindings pushed towards your toeside, and heelside, and then see if you like how the side with the extra clearance feels. If you're indeed carving at all, you will be able to carve a bit deeper on that side. If you're only having a bit of 'boot-out' issues on one side, then this will be a better binding placement option for you. If you are still having boot-out when carving on both of the edges when they are set for extra clearance, then you're ready for a wider board, or further testing with some 'risers' that I'll feature in the next video.
