Drills can seem like the most tedious and boring thing to do in all the world, but over the past 5 years I have started to appreciate how valuable they are - and actually enjoy these days now.
I am finally at the point where I am ready to learn how hop over those logs, ride a small wheelie through a rough section, or simply pop over a washout - which means it is time to learn how to control the front end and place it where I want.
Drill Sequence from ARiemann1 [ Ссылка ]
1.) Blip throttle (no clutch slipping) while sitting in the middle of the bike. Prevents the front from really lifting while developing muscle memory. Keep brake covered, and chest/arms up.
2.) Blip throttle (no clutch popping) while sitting further back. Lets the front lift a little more - still pretty safe as your throttle muscle memory is at play now.
3.) Blip throttle while standing in center of bike (over the engine)
4.) Blip throttle while standing in attack position with progression of compression of suspension and pull on the bars a little.
5.) Apply to a small obstacle

I want to give a special thanks to those that have inspired me and helped me move from a novice to an intermediate(ish) rider that explores just about anywhere.
