Family circular hike up Goatfell (874 m) on the Isle of Arran, Scotland. We ascended to top from the North side along a very steep ragged ridge. The scramble was challenging especially due to the very strong wind. We started the hike along Glenrosa Water stream and came back down along the main tourist path. We chose this route because the ascent would be more picturesque and fun this way.
The total distance was 10.33 miles with 3004 ft elevation.
