In this video, I went fishing with Max over at @groupermvp on his boat and we were targeting mangrove snapper under the Skyway Bridge inside Tampa Bay. We stopped at the Skyway Fishing Pier first to catch live bait (greenbacks, pilchards, and sardines) with a cast net. Once we had bait, we set up under the Skyway Bridge next to the rocks around the pilings and began chumming the snapper with chunks of bait. It didn't take long for the snapper to get fired up! This technique is an easy way to catch a limit of mangrove snapper for dinner. We teach you how to catch the snapper there with all the gear and techniques we used so you can try and catch them on your own.
