Welcome to Random Rookie Cards. I go through my collection, grab NFL rookies and talk about that player's history.

This time I feature a player who got to have two rookie cards. Wide receiver Gary Clark first appeared in the 1985 Topps USFL set and then again in 1986 Topps for the NFL. Clark was the first player from James Madison University to have his number retired and he continued to be a big impact in the pros despite his size. Gary Clark was a lot of fun to watch during his time in Washington as he teamed up with Pro Football Hall of Famer Art Monk and Ricky Sanders to form The Posse. In 1989 The Posse (Clark 1,229, Monk 1,186 & Sanders 1,138) became the second trio of teammates to tally 1,000 yards receiving in a season.
