Excerpts from a 2017 lecture/slide presentation by Russian history professor, Olga Porshneva, who talks about the attitudes and beliefs of Russian soldiers about World War I, and how they helped spark the unrest which led to the Russian Revolution and the beginning of the Soviet Union.

She has a strong Russian accent, speaks at a slow pace, and there are a lot of long pauses.
