Moorlands Farm Fishery was recently voted as the ‘Fishery Of The Year 2023’ by you the angler, as the fishery of the year 2023, in the Angling Times. In this video, Steve Winter visits the venue to sit down with it's owner, Grant Albutt to discuss the challenges he has faced in bringing the site back to its former glory, and the everyday challenges that come with fishery management.
It’s safe to say Grant has certainly put the hours in since taking over in 2020, from renovation work and new pegs on the lakes to stocking programmes, opening an on-site tackle shop, and installing a new café and bar which sit just 20m away from the lakes.
