This exercise should be performed at the end of the training session aimed at working the back muscles. It puts the greater load on the lattisimi dorsi. A significant weight is required for this exercise.
Exercising with expander: the exercise can be performed using an elastic band instead of the weights. To do this, take one end of the band and put a bench you are lying on on the other end, so that the band hooked over the end of the bench reaching behind your head. Ideally, the band should be stretched at the starting point to increase difficulty over the entire range of motion. The bench inclination doesn't matter. However, bands do not fully supplement the dumbbells.
