Apologies in advance for the digital "watermarks." I have messaged the owners about acquiring a "clean" copy for a fee, but 2 weeks out have yet to hear from them.
What you have here are TWO different sections of film footage of the same duel, spliced one after the other. So when it seems like it is over the first time... let it keep playing.
As of this writing this is THE most recent filmed duel of which I am aware. The duel was between Vice Adm. Benigno Varela, former commander of the Argentine Navy and Yolivan Alberto Biglieri, an Argentine politician and newspaperman whose prowess with a sword has brought him national renown. There is another vid on my channel, same duel, in color, without watermarks.
