Today Nike unveiled the PhantomVSN, a soccer cleat that is a technological breakthrough in fit and precision. The PhantomVSN features brand new tech such as Quadfit Mesh and a Ghost Lacing System that were all designed to give you the perfect fit for the perfect touch on the ball.

Quadfit Mesh - Perfect fit right out of the box.
To achieve the perfect fit right out of the box, Nike had to develop a completely new technology. Quadfit Mesh is the inner bootie of the Phantom Vision and can only be weaved by a select few mills in the world. The Quadfit Mesh has no stretch bias and can stretch in any direction without losing internal stability. The fibers are woven independent of each other and can take the shape of any foot type, so it’s both strong and adaptable.
Ghost Lacing System - Hidden and instant lockdown with one pull.
While the Phantom VSN might look like a laceless boot, it does in fact have laces. Nike found that their athletes still wanted laces to support a customized fit, but also wanted clean contact on the upper - the result, the Ghost Lacing System. the Ghost Lacing System offers a one pull and uniform lockdown fit. Essentially the laces activate the Quadfit Mesh and provide a customized fit just for you.
Upper Construction
The Phantom VSN’s entire upper is made from a one piece Flyknit. The Flyknit has also been engineered to include micro texture zones in crucial receiving, passing, and shooting areas - delivering unbelievably precise touch.
