6ARC was developed to provide similar performance as 308 out of a smaller, lighter and more handy rifle package. Lets take a look at just how closely 6ARC matches up to 308 out of a DMR type rifle out to 1000 yards. I propose that a 14.5" 6ARC upper will perform almost identical to a 20" 308 rifle in terms of bullet drop, and hit percent at typical DMR ranges while providing the advantages of a smaller, lighter and handier rifle.
