This long formate movie style video is a combination of my first 3 videos from my epic Baja Road Trip withy Solo Skiff in the Fall of 2023. At the beginning of November 2023 I loaded up my Solo Skiff into the back of my F150 and made the 650 plus mile drive from San Diego south across the border into Mexico Baja California. I stopped by Gonzaga Bay Area in Baja California Norte on the way down and fished one evening on the Solo Skiff. I caught Sierra, trigger fish and Cabrilla on the jig and troll and kept the Sierra and trigger fish so when I made my way all the way to Loreto in Baja California Sur I made and enjoyed some fresh ceviche. I had the set up on the Odyssey the in Loreto with my Soon Skiff there ready to fish off it was a dream set up. I ended up catching a variety of fish from my Solo Skiff with highlight fish being yellowtail on the Candy Bar YoYo iron and Dorado on the Hawaiian Trolling feather. Good times fishing with Captain Froy with Allure Sportfishing. He hooked me up with live mackerel to fish for yellowtail but all I caught was Cabrilla and eels. CaptainFroy and Allure Sportfsihing ended up catching several large yellowtail and a big 40lb bull dorado (mahi) on the bottom with live mackerels for bait. Life is good!! giving the dream. One love!!!
