Joffre Lakes is one of British Columbia's most scenic hikes. The trail begins north of Pemberton, BC, from the Duffey Lake Road portion of Highway 99 and passes three beautiful alpine lakes, taking you up into the alpine area.

The first lake is a short walk from the parking lot but the other two lakes are a steep hike uphill where hikers should bring proper footwear, water, food, and other items for their day-hike.

The Joffre Lakes hike has become incredibly popular and busy and BC Parks has been requiring Day Use Passes to access Joffre Lakes during the summer months. You can camp at the lake but reservations are also required and book up quickly.
