I began hiking the GR11 on August 24th 2020 and for the first week, I enjoyed my own company being alone on the trail. In the second week (chapter 2) I met two English lads and Karim from Egypt, and we enjoyed a couple of weeks walking together (chapter 3). The fourth instalment on my Crossing the Pyrenees series I begin with Karim and then go off on my own again and end up appreciating the time alone in nature more than ever.
In the final chapter (coming soon) I finish my hike alone and finally reach the shores of the Mediterranean after 512 miles and 30 days of hiking.
